How to find where to watch any movie or show in 2026

Streaming used to be simple. Now there are a dozen subscription services, four free ad-supported networks, and digital rental storefronts — and a single movie can be on all of them at different prices. Here's how to find any title without juggling tabs.

1. Use a streaming index, not Google

Google's "where to watch" answer is often outdated, regional in confusing ways, and full of affiliate links. A dedicated index like the one this site is built on pulls live availability per country, so you see the real picture in one shot.

2. Check your country first

A title on Netflix in the US might be on Prime Video in the UK and not available at all in India. Always confirm the country at the top of any streaming guide before you trust the answer.

3. Don't forget rentals

If a movie isn't on any subscription service you have, a $3.99 rental on Apple TV or Amazon is often cheaper than signing up for a new monthly plan just to watch one thing.

4. Watch for "leaving soon" tags

Big titles rotate off services constantly. JustWatch, Reelgood, and similar trackers flag titles that are leaving in the next 30 days — useful when you're deciding what to watch tonight.
